A Millennial Heritage

In the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains in eastern Morocco lies the village of Taliouine , renowned for producing some of the best saffron in the world through traditional and respectful cultivation. Taliorigin®, our registered trademark , embodies this ancestral tradition and the know-how passed down from generation to generation.

A Unique Terroir

Taliouine benefits from a climate and soil that are exceptionally conducive to growing Crocus sativus, the saffron flower. The sunny days, cool nights and mineral-rich soil provide ideal conditions for producing saffron of unmatched quality. Each strand of our saffron is the fruit of this unique land and the expertise of our growers.

Supported by studies

A detailed study of saffrons from different regions, including that of Taliouine, has highlighted its exceptional quality. Physicochemical analysis revealed that Taliouine saffron has high levels of crocin , picrocrocin and safranal , the compounds responsible for its intense colour, distinct taste and characteristic aroma.
